The Archaeological Ensemble of Carmona (Spain) was inaugurated in 1885, being the earliest Museum of Site in Spain.
Now it depends of the regional government of Andalusia and includes a Roman necropolis and amphitheatre dating from I century B.C. to II A. D.. Current tombs conserve an hypogean chamber excavated in the stone substrate, some of them with decorative painting.
Work developed as staff member of the Ensemble.
